Neeraj Chopra has now become the fourth Indian athlete to win two Olympic medals. Before him, Sushil Kumar, PV Sindhu, and Manu Bhaker achieved this feat. Reflecting on the competition and Arshad Nadeem’s victory, Neeraj commented that it was Arshad’s day.
Speaking to ANI, Neeraj Chopra said the competition was fantastic. “Every athlete has their day, and today was Arshad’s. I gave my best, but there are still some areas I need to focus on and improve. Even though our national anthem didn’t play today, I believe it will in the future.”
